Dr. Dan completed his 4 year postgraduate education at the distinguished Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. Before that, he completed a Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (H.BSc.Kin) degree at McMaster University, graduating summa cum laude.
As an athlete growing up in Hamilton, competing in high level football, Dr. Dan experienced his fair share of injuries and the treatment and rehab that went hand-in-hand. This was his first introduction to chiropractic, which had a profound effect on his life both physically and mentally. This exposure to proactive care that focused on improving his athletic performance, preventing injuries, and enhancing his overall well-being helped him become a healthier, more robust athlete. Thus, he developed an interest in health, fitness, and rehabilitation, which guided his career path and influenced how he cares for patients today.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Dan’s clinical training enables him to assess and treat the whole musculoskeletal (MSK) system, while having a special focus on spinal health. In his role as a MSK expert, Dr. Dan’s practice encompasses treatment of the muscles, joints, and underlying nervous system involving the upper & lower kinetic chains (shoulders, arms, hips, legs), the spine (neck & back), and the interconnections between them. Be it a sprain, strain, headache, or reoccurring pain; workplace, vehicle, or sport injury - Dr. Dan’s focus is to help his patients recover quickly, overcome their pain, and keep them functioning optimally thereafter.
Seeing his patients live their best life - through health and wellness - at home, at work, and during play is Dr. Dan’s ambition. Through a regular combination of chiropractic care, exercise rehab - and a lot of teamwork between you - reaching that goal is possible.
